Delivery: Outsourced to local third-party companies. 

Tilt Bed Shipping Container Delivery: Requires minimum 100ft straight line clearance. (70ft – 60ft straight line clearance for 20′ Containers)

Flatbed Shipping Container Delivery: Cost-effective but requires self-unloading. Requires heavy machinery for unloading. Pricing based on mileage, time frame, and quantity.

Cost of Delivery: Estimated at a per mile rate via tilt-bed trailer and flatbed.

Customer Responsibility

Door Orientation: Specify door facing preference.

Customer Responsibility: Can request specific drop-off location. Responsible for resolving delivery truck issues. Ensure safe delivery conditions and cover additional charges for issues. If the truck or trailer needs to pass over any terrain that is sloping or deemed unsafe by the driver, the driver may refuse to unload your container. It is good to have a backup drop off site, incase the driver is not comfortable with the desired site. 

Liability: Not liable for late or delayed delivery. Customers file claims for loss, theft, or damage during transit. Not liable for delivery or pick-up issues. Not responsible for losses due to delays.

Cancellation Policy: No fee with 48 hours’ notice, $300 fee with less notice.

Guidelines and Site Preparation 

Shipping Container Drop Site Preparation: Prepare level ground, suitable surfaces, and consider weather conditions.  Ensure level ground for both delivery site and truck parking. Sloping terrain may lead to delivery refusal.

Road Surfaces: Prefer paved roads; minimum requirement for rural areas is a maintained two-lane county road. Avoid unsuitable surfaces like loose dirt, sand, flooded areas, and steep inclines. Remove debris.

Shipping Container Delivery Space Clearance: Ensure sufficient clearance for vehicles and containers.

Height and Width Restrictions: Minimum height and width of 14 feet required. Clearance for low hanging obstacles necessary. Spotters should be present.

Length Restrictions: 60ft straight line minimum for 20ft container, 100ft for 40ft container. Trucks cannot turn while unloading.

Space Around Container: Have enough space in front of the container.

Weight Distribution: Evenly distribute container weight on four steel corner castings to prevent twisting. Use support like pavers or blocks if necessary.

Weather Conditions: Check for dry and firm road and container location.

Flat Delivery Site: Avoid hills or slopes. Ensure level container placement.
